Inspired by glassware from the Mount Vernon Ladies Association’s Collection, this brilliant sterling silver ring is accented by six stars in white topaz zigzagging across the top; capturing the spirit of the original glasses which belonged to the Washington's during George Washington’s presidency. 

George brought the wineglasses to Mount Vernon when he retired from public office. The blown glass wineglasses are colorless, with tapered drawn stem, conical foot with faceted edge and a pontil mark. The engraving features a horizontal line, a zigzag line and three rows of stars below.
